This premium grain spawn is produced in our lab from a strong and consistent Hericium erinaceus mother culture. Ideal for expanding into hardwood sawdust substrates for indoor cultivation or supplemented straw in bags.

Ideal Substrate Recipe:

• 80% hardwood sawdust (preferably beech or oak)

• 10% wheat or rice bran

• 10% grain kernel or sunflower seed hulls

• Moisture content: 60–65%

Inoculation Ratio:

• Standard: 1 part spawn to 10 parts substrate

• Fast colonization: 1:5 for aggressive growth

Colonization Conditions:

• Temperature: 22–24°C (72–75°F)

• Humidity: 70%+ (not critical)

• Light: Darkness or low light

• Duration: 14–20 days until fully white and firm

Tips for Best Results:

• Always shake spawn before use to break up kernels.

• Use clean or sterile substrate to avoid contamination.

• For faster results, pre-incubate substrate at colonization temp before moving to fruiting room.
